EU Data Protection Law is Changing.
New data protection regulations from the European Union, known as GDPR, will go into effect on May 25, 2018. For this reason, we will provide more details about how you can manage your personal data.

Who will this affect?
This will affect people who signed up to the FIG Newsletter or have subscribed to Monthly Donations.

Regarding the FIG newsletter, our current settings will stay the same. Namely, your contact details will continue to be stored in our Mailchimp account (an app for sending email campaigns & newsletters) for the sole purpose of the Newsletter Subscription. Our Mailchimp account is password protected. In addition, the archived data is protected by Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service which you can read at this link, https://bit.ly/2IwqN6a

As for Monthly Donation subscriptions, our current settings will stay the same. Your personal data will continue to be stored in our PayPal account (which is password protected) for the sole purpose of the monthly donation. This personal data is protected by PayPal’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service which can be read at the following link, https://bit.ly/2KGoPwy

Any personal data, videos or photos shared on our website or social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) may be deleted or changed by emailing us at flyingirishgreyhounds@gmail.com.

What do you need to do?
To ensure we are GDPR compliant, we will be emailing current newsletter subscribers and monthly donation subscribers to offer the options of opting in or out and making it easier to subscribe or unsubscribe in future.
